How to determine your screen resolution and download
wallpaper:
PC Instructions:
1 Determine your screen resolution by right-clicking on the desktop,
then choosing “Properties” then “Settings.” The
screen resolution will be displayed, e.g., 800x600, 1024x768, etc.
2 Click on the proper screen resolution link below the image/message
you’ve selected. A full-size image will appear. Right-click on
the image with your mouse, and select the option: Set as Background.
Macintosh Instructions:
1. Determine the resolution of your computer screen:
Mac OS 8.0: Choose Monitors & Sounds from the “Control
Panels” submenu under the “Apple” menu. If necessary,
click the “Monitor button” in the “Monitors and Sounds” window
that appears. The resolution is listed in the “Resolution” area.
Mac OS X: From the Apple menu, select System Preferences, and then select “Display” from
the “Hardware” section. The nine resolution settings vary
from 640 x 480 pixels up to 1280 x 1024 pixels.
2. Click on the proper screen resolution link. When the full-size image
appears, click on the image with your mouse button and select the option:
Save this Image As. Save the image to your hard drive or your desktop.
Next, go to your “Apple” menu in the upper left corner, scroll
down to “Control Panels” and choose “Appearance”.
Click on the “Desktop" tab. Click the “Place Picture...” button
on the lower right and select the location where you saved your desktop
image and press “Choose.” Then, press the “Set Desktop” button
in the Appearance menu. Your image will appear on your desktop. (Note:
on Mac OS 8.1, choose “Desktop Patterns” from the control
panels instead of “Appearance”.)
